- Ordering supplies and managing budget. You will be responsible for ensuring that the necessary ingredients and supplies are ordered on time and in the correct quantities. This will require good organisational skills and attention to detail to provide the best quality for our customers.
- Maintaining good fridge hygiene: You will be responsible for keeping the fridge clean and organised to ensure food safety and quality. This includes regularly checking and disposing of expired items and properly storing ingredients.
- Creating new dishes: You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and culinary skills by developing new dishes to add to the cafe's menu. This involves experimenting with different ingredients, flavors, and presentation styles to provide unique and exciting options for our customers.
- Cleaning to a high standard: Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen is crucial for food safety. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitising workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Working and communicating with our baristas is essential to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Cooking in a busy environment: The cafe is a fast-paced, and you will be expected to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining efficiency and quality. This requires excellent time management and multitasking skills.
