As one of our care assistants you will get to meet our wonderful residents and build relationships.
As a Senior care assistant you can be the highlight of somebody’s day or you can be there for them in their darkest hour, but you’ll do it all with the full support of our fantastic team of office staff and existing care assistants. You will lead a small team of care assistants and help delegate the day to day activities to be completed each day.
**Job Requirements**: Everyone here is focused on making sure our residents feel settled, secure and right at home from the moment they arrive. As a Care Assistant, that’s when you’ll know that you’ve arrived too, as you do this in all sorts of ways. This role could be the springboard towards a career in care management or nursing, although you might love the role exactly as it is. After all, it’s incredibly rewarding, and above all, it has the scope to make an even bigger difference to people’s quality of life.
- Experience as a senior is required.
- The right to live and work in the UK
- Overseeing the activities of the team for the day.
- Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 2 most recent jobs.
- Administering medication to the people who use our service and ordering meds in when necessary.
- Carrying out daily medication audits and checks.
- Ensuring all daily tasks are completed.
- Ensuring that the needs of the people who use our service are met and safeguarded at all times.
- To ensure that the people who use our service are able to maintain and improve existing life skills and to access a wide range of opportunities in order to enhance a positive sense of purpose.
- Ensuring that the safety and dignity of the people we support is most important at all times.
- Delivering care and support to the people who use our services on a daily basis
- To assist the people who use our service to maintain optimum health and well-being, including assisting with all aspects of personal care, mobility and behaviours that may challenge, as required.

Bridge House is a Victorian country home offering a special blend of traditional elegance and modern facilities. All of our 30 comfortable bedrooms have large en-suite shower rooms and flat screen TVs. An emergency call system is also in place in all rooms.
