**Job Title**: Live in Care Assistant (FEMALES ONLY)

**Salary**: From £820 per week on

**Location**: Pontefract, West Yorkshire

We have an exciting opportunity for a live-in carer for a young adult available in the Pontefract area of West Yorkshire. This will be alternate weeks 1 on/ 1 off. Previous live in care experience essential in this role.

The Care Collection provides multi award-winning home care to individuals of all ages. Our services include companionship, domestic support, personal care through to more complex care, with minimum 1-hour calls for domiciliary care and live in care available. **The responsibilities of this role are**:

- To provide outstanding care and support to our client in their own home
- Provide companionship
- Basic help in the home, shopping and meal preparation so good cooking knowledge required
- Deliver specialist care based on training received.
- medication administration
- Mental health experience desired
- Experience working with clients with Diabetes desired

**Requirement**:

- Committed, caring and compassionate with a clear desire to support others
- Enthusiastic and positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Experience with mental health support desired
- Knowledge of diabetes support
- Previous experience of a live in role essential
