- **Do you want to work with children after school ?** We need someone who can manage, direct and support children in their enjoyment of a safe and effective programme, while ensuring they are motivated and happy.
- **Are you easily approachable and can communicate and engage with people? **As an After school assistant you will ensure that there is effective communication between your venue, your team, parents, the school and Central Operations.

Ducklings is a new exciting and forward-thinking Nursery. We are looking for an Assistant for our Before and After school club.

Ideally someone who passionate about bringing enrichment opportunities and wants to be part of a team that is dedicated to the magic of teaching children how to learn and not what to learn.

We are committed to providing a high quality service through our curriculum and hope to recruit/ train people who are equally passionate about implementing the latest research around building children’s brains. The world has changed rapidly - unfortunately education has stood still. We are here to change that.

We offer amazing face to face training opportunities - all training, staff meetings and staff DBS paid for.

Expectations

To provide a well researched and exciting programme of physical, emotional, social and intellectual development for all children at the after school club.
- To work as a team to ensure the cirriculum intentions are delivered for all children
- To work as part of a team in order to provide an environment in which all individual children can be engaged in and excited about
- To work within the requirements set out in the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and appreciate wider pedagogy such as the Reggio Emelia or forest schools approach.

**Full job description**

Location: Beeston Rylands

Contract: Permanent 15 - 22.5 hrs. per week minumum during term time.

Working hours: Breakfast Club 7:15 am - 9:00 am & **After school club 14.45 pm
- 18.00 pm**

Unqualified role

Parking: Roadside

**Must be willing to undertake a Paediatric First Aid Course, paid for by us if you do not already have this qualification**

- **Qualifications**:

- Childcare / playwork Level 3 ideal
- GCSE's in Mathematics and English or equivilant
- Right to work in the UK
- ATTACHING A CV WOULD BE HELPFUL.
