We are looking for a Team Leader to join the team in Witney working with Learning Disability and Autism, the salary is between £27,000-£27500 depending on qualifications and experience. This is a very rewarding role working in a great team with many benefits.

You will be a confident problem solver and creative thinker with good communication skills and have a resilience to overcome challenges. You will have experience working with people with a learning disability and experience developing skills within a team

Previous management experience is desirable
A management qualification would be desirable.
IT Skills desirable

You will empower the people supported to live the lives they want to lead and provide great leadership and day-to-day supervision to a team of support workers. You will be responsible for the supervision, coaching and mentoring of a team providing support to individuals in their own homes. You will provide direct care and support and co-ordinate the daily provision of support and activities for people we support to ensure the delivery of a high quality, responsive and efficient service. You will have finances and other resources to manage, along with legal requirements and standards of care to meet.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Health and Social Care (level 3) or equivalent

OR Diploma in Health and Social Care (level 3) children

and young people pathway - or equivalent (This is

desirable for new starters and essential for pay progression
- as part of our L&D support for staff we sponsor people to

obtain these qualifications)
- Maths (level 2) and English (level 2)

(GCSE and ‘O’ level grade A-C or CSE grade 1) or able to

demonstrate equivalent capacity

Full driving licence and own

transport (this may be

essential in some services)

Additional relevant social

care or management

qualifications

Experience
- Minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience of working

with people with learning disabilities
- For team leaders working in children’s services,

demonstrable experience of working with children and

young people with disabilities and their families
