We have a wide selection of items across all major product categories, including fresh and frozen goods, which are stocked in each of our points of sale by our dedicated replenishment team. We lead all operations out of a central warehouse and have a rigorous replenishment schedule to each of our sites in order to ensure we are always well stocked to serve our customers day-to-day needs.

We are building a network of stores across London and expanding to 2 additional UK hubs by Summer ’23. Our team have been especially trained to manage the day-to-day replenishment and operations of our stores, from picking and packing items to transporting and placing them on our shelves, always adhering to pantree’s highest presentation standards.

**The role**

The role of the Warehouse Supervisor is to optimise the day-to-day operations at our warehouse and contribute to the highest performance possible within our logistics and stock replenishment requirements. This includes maintaining inventory cover and accuracy, keeping tight control of product stock to minimise all wastage, developing, and managing the warehouse operations, working closely with the buying and replenishment functions.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Manage the warehouse day to day operations while assisting with general tasks across the board - we are a small team and all get involved in the day-to-day.
- Support the driver/replenishment team responsible for the daily transfer of inventory to each of our sites (e.g. site replenishment).
- Manage the picking process for stock replenishment, according to the store delivery schedule.
- Manage the return stock process, and ensuring the system is updated accurately.
- Minimise wastage by conducting regular stock counts, inventory checks as well as a monthly stocktake.
- Manage and report product expiration risks and supervising the stock rotation, particularly related to short life fresh and chilled products.
- Update and maintain the accuracy of our inventory management system, ensuring all stock levels are correct at all times, at the warehouse and each of our sites.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Due Diligence measures are in place for the warehouse environment and daily operation and that fridges, freezers and equipment are meeting optimum working order.
- Develop warehouse efficiencies, layout and designated space associated with bulk
- fast moving items and slower commodities, and generally seek to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage the waste disposal from packaging and deliveries so as not to disrupt the daily warehouse operation, ensure deliveries are collecting pallets, roll cages and crates.
- Collaborate with your different counterparts across the business to improve overall operational performance.
- Act as the first point of contact of our warehouse from external contacts and suppliers, and the main person responsible for stock inbounding and supplier deliveries.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of grocery product handling and warehouse operation experience
- Comfortable working with data to inform operational decisions, learning and utilising our inventory management system.
- A good understanding and track record in managing and influencing operational performance.
- Great knowledge of food safety and health and safety compliance requirements.
- Previous experience of working collaboratively working within a team and supporting the general onboarding process for new colleagues.
- 'Can do, never give up' attitude and the desire to grow within a small and ambitious team.
- Right to work in the UK.
- 8-hour shift with weekend availability.
