Sports Session and Membership Administrator

‘Together We Can Do’ is a small but developing charity founded in 2020, it was set up by a number of parents and carers of individuals. The charity currently has 3 part time employees. Our vision is for individuals from Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre with a disability to have the opportunity to participate in enjoyable, affordable exercise, sporting activities and to meet and socialise with others. Our activities are based in various locations throughout the Fylde Coast and the charity currently supports approximately 150 young people and adults with a disability.
The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Sports Sessions & Membership Administrator to work alongside the Sports and Social Session Coordinator and Charities Project Manager. The successful applicant will take responsibility for a wide variety of tasks including:
- to act as a session Registration Officer on a weekly basis, including recording both attendance and payments. Sessions run on Mondays (11.30am - 1.30pm at Thornton Cleveleys), Thursdays (9.30am-1.30pm Blackpool) and Saturday mornings (9.30am - 11.30am St Annes). Social events as required - currently Wednesdays 6.30pm - 7.30pm fortnightly.
- liaising with the Sports and Social Session Coordinator to ensure sessions are safe and enjoyable for all members
- general administrative duties including maintaining the Membership and Volunteer records
- administrative tasks associated with the Social activities, charities documentation, fund raising and promotion of the charity
The trustees are looking for someone who is caring and enthusiastic in addition to
- Good verbal, written, communication and numeracy skills
- Good IT skills with a proficiency in MS Office or similar
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability and willingness to learn
- To work part of a team and assist colleagues and help out as and when required
- Willingness to travel to various sports venues within the Fylde Coast
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and qualifications funded by the Charity
Informal visits to a sports session are welcome by arrangement.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Part-time hours: 12 per week
**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
