Retail Volunteer

As a charity, we are committed to improving the quality of life for all older people living in West Cumbria. We support older people to live safely and independently at home for as long as possible and to love later life We've been working in the local community to help older people for 40 years. We have dedicated staff and volunteers helping us to deliver services and activities for older people in West Cumbria.

Please note that this is an unpaid position in a friendly charity shop in Wigton. Any hours available Mon to Saturday 10am till 2pm.

**Typical tasks include**:

- Greeting customers and answering their questions.
- Serving customers, taking payments and providing good customer service.
- Sorting through donations and pricing stock.
- Visual merchandising of internal displays and window displays.
- Keeping the shop tidy and well organised.
- Following health and safety policies.

**The minimum age for volunteering in our shops is 18.**
