We are currently seeking to recruit a confident Learning Support Mentor with SEND, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and challenging behaviour experience to work at an Alternative Provision School in Wigan. This school provides education and support to pupils who are unable to attend mainstream education due to illness or being at risk of permanent exclusion. The role will require the Learning Support Mentor to work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to support with pupil learning.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role supporting individuals with SEND, SEMH and challenging behaviour.
- Confident in providing educational support and pastoral support to pupils.
- Provide a safe and supporting learning environment
- Be able to approach pupils with patience and kindness
- Must have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
