NEC RETAIL TEAM LEADER - FULL TIME PERMANENT ANNUALISED CONTRACT 2080 HOURS PER ANNUM

We are looking for a
**Retail Team Leader** based at The
**NEC** to supervise a designated catering area reporting to a member of the Catering Management Team.

**Main duties**
- Proactively manage variable resources and costs in controlling Food and Beverage stocks, personnel, and equipment and take appropriate action to changes in the business
- To ensure you, and those others working within your areas of responsibility do so in accordance with current, applicable health and safety, fire safety legislation, and group health and safety policies, procedures, and arrangements
- To implement and manage those group health and safety fire safety policies, procedures, and arrangements as applicable to your work activities and working environment
- Ensure staff comply with cash handling procedures
- Meets the required level of customer care and ensures all team members comply
- Train, develop and motivate staff to operate in new catering environments, use up selling techniques, and understand promotions
- Effectively manages resources as provided within the catering area to ensure that skills are used and developed appropriately on a day to day basis
- Able to supervise up to 25 workers within a catering unit taking up to 12K per day
- Manage the planning and set up of each show to the catering forecast
- Able to team lead at least four different catering styles of outlet e.g. Table service restaurant, Edge catering concepts, Hospitality areas, café bars, and large self-service restaurants
