Lyndhurst part of the Caretech group, is a specialist residential care home for men and women with complex or enduring mental health disorders. With accommodation across three houses and with an experienced staff team, we are able to support individualswith complex challenging behaviour or a forensic history, to transition from acute or secure services into a community setting.

**Job role**:
You will work alongside a full multidisciplinary team comprising of Psychologist, Assistants and residential staff. You will be required to exercise leadership, driving service delivery for occupational therapy which focuses on assisting people to engagein daily life activities that they find meaningful and purposeful.

Working autonomously, you will provide quality assessments, reports and interventions and work with the Residential staff to embed coping strategies across the environment. Our model of care focuses on the principles of Recovery Star, which places the individualat the centre of the decision making. The ‘star’ contains ten areas covering the main aspects of people’s lives, including daily living skills, relationships, work, identity and self-esteem.

Taking a “hands on” approach it is essential that you will be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills. You must have excellent organisational and time management skills.
- You must have a degree or a post graduate diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience in working with mental Health Needs
- Have a licence and access to own transport.
- Be a strong team player.
- Have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
