Cleaning Supervisor

About The Role***
Leading a team of cleaners, your main aim will be to supervise a team of cleaning staff, undertaking inspections of the site and ensuring staff are working productively and safely, ensuring client satisfaction and customer excellence are achieved, and services are delivered to agreed standards.
Hours of work will be predominantly overnight, scheduled between the hours of 9pm and 7am with occasionally day shifts when required.
**Main Duties**
- Ensuring cleaning activities are carried out to the highest standards. The cleaning activities will include mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins and cleaning toilet facilities, litter picking tribunes, and public circulation areas.
- Conduct team briefings and allocate operatives to designated areas.
- Train and develop staff
- Make sure all operatives are signed in for their shifts.
- Sweep/Vacuum all floor areas as required according to the composition of the floor, Damp wipe doors, shelves, seating, kiosks, handrails, phones & fire hydrants and collect waste, empty boxes when requested.
- Making sure final checks of cleaning areas are done and are clean to spec.
- Responsible for keeping all areas always relating to the event clean and litter free.
- Responsible for keeping all public toilets and circulation areas clean, tidy & free from litter always including lifts, stairs. Ensuring all spillages are dealt with immediately.
- Manage equipment and ensure all stores are clean and fully stocked.
**To be successful, you will need**:
- Previous supervisory experience desirable but not essential as training will be given
