We’re hiring The Dash Charity is recruiting for a new full time Housing IDVA role, supporting people experiencing domestic abuse in RBWM. This exciting new role will be co located within RBWM housing department 2 days a week.
- To improve engagement with victims of domestic abuse (and their children) within temporary accommodation, enabling them to either return to their properties in a safe way or by supporting them to secure alternative appropriate accommodation, taking full account of safety and risk management issues
- To provide high quality support, risk assessment, information and advocacy to clients who have experienced domestic abuse, with a particular focus on those who currently reside within safe accommodation provided by the local authority or who require housing support. Your role is to empower clients, keeping safety central and providing advocacy and assistance to enable clients to remain safe in their homes and/or secure longer-term accommodation. **Salary**: £25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Berkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
