A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate **Barista **to join the **Cedric Grolet** team at The Berkeley.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
As a **Barista** in **Cedric Grolet** you will be dedicated to preparing beverages to a high standard, whilst enjoying a fast-paced, lively customer facing environment. The Barista should be able to understand the needs of the station at any point of service such as replenishing stock, anticipating what needs to be prepared, and aiding the Head Barista in any duties. In addition, the Barista is expected to have a knowledge of the patisserie so they can help answer any guest queries and provide brilliant customer service.

**Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to**:

- Have an advanced knowledge of our beverage menu and able to speak fluently about our products, suppliers and techniques used.
- Working to recipe in a high-paced environment whilst upholding a clean, efficient manner
- Ensuring all responsibilities set out by the Head Barista in the setting up and end of day procedure are met and completed in the time set out to you.
- Being able to work collaboratively with team, and assisting on the shop floor when needed to create an excellent experience for the guest.
- Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.

**Entry Requirements**:

- Knowledge of calibration, milk steaming & working with speciality coffee is desirable
