This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Counsellor to join our team working as part of the Student Disability and Wellbeing team.

The counselling services at the University aims to enable students to enhance their psychological health thus supporting their academic success, engagement, and personal development. As a Student Counsellor, you will provide psychological assessment and brief counselling to students.
- Have a passion to work in a Higher Education setting and will be committed to enhancing students’ psychological health.
- Be experienced in assessment and risk assessment (safeguarding, safety, and wellbeing) and in providing brief counselling interventions.
- Be a team player who thrives when working collaboratively with people.
- Always aim to deliver a high-quality service, championing respect, inclusivity, equality, and diversity.

This role is located at the Ipswich waterfront campus with capacity for a proportion of time agile working.
