**Job summary**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to Come and work with us on economic and social statistics.

Statistics Jersey are the team who provide the official statistics for Jersey. Measuring and reporting on the size and structure of the Island’s economy, the number and age profile of our residents, population trends, inflation, house prices and more.

The role is highly rewarding, our information is often high profile and used by a wide range of users, including States departments, businesses, and individuals. Our statistics can help to shape Jersey’s future and are used to plan policies and services such as schools, health and transport.

We run our own independent surveys of businesses and households, as well as making use of large administrative datasets. Strong IT and data analysis skills are essential, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines.

The post requires a degree-level qualification in a discipline with substantial numerical content.
