We are currently recruiting for Multi Skilled Operatives to work at our MRF site in LE3, Leicester. You will be operating a variety of mobile plant equipment to ensure the smooth processing mixed recyclables. You will also be responsible for house keeping and the quality of incoming materials. The shift pattern is 5:45am to 6:15pm with 4 on 4 off shifts.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Using a variety of mobile plant - including fork lifts, clamp trucks and shovel loaders.
- Loading and offloading vehicles in a timely manner
- including containers, flat bed lorries, curtain side lorries, ensuring the material is of the correct quality.
- Ensuring mobile plant is clean and in good working order - documenting
- Controlling the quality of incoming material on a day-to-day basis and providing feedback to the materials quality and Yard Supervisors; completing relevant documentation accordingly.
- Operating fixed plant to a high standard ensuring daily maintenance and cleaning is undertaken.
- Maintaining high standard of housekeeping on site on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation.
- To maintain housekeeping of defined equipment areas to appropriate gmp / 5s and best practice systems.
- Ensuring aspects of Operational and noise management plans are adhered to at all times.
- Undertaking any other duties to meet on-going needs of the organisation.

**Essential Criteria and Qualifications**
- Forklift Truck Licence.
- Previous experience using Mobile Plant/Forklift Truck.
- Attention to detail.
- Health and Safety focused approach to work.
- Ability to prioritise workloads.
