Waste & Recycling Advisor

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (weekends and evenings to attend events may be required)

The ideal person will have experience of waste and recycling services, although this is not essential. They will however require a desire to help the team deliver efficient quality services, focused on reducing waste and promoting re-use and recycling to our residents. A good knowledge of frontline services is desirable to this post.

The ability to write project reports and complaint letters to a high standard is a requirement, as is the ability to use IT packages and information systems.

The Council is committed to being carbon neutral in respect of its own emissions by 2030 in line with the Climate Change Act 2008. This post will play a key post in helping to achieve that goal.

It is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle as travel around the District is required.

Interviews will be taking place on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 March 2023.
