Injection Moulding Setter

RGE Group Plastic Injection Moulding Company started in **1965** and is the home of injection moulding. RGE specialises in tooling, precision plastic injection mouldings and product development engineering.

An exciting opportunity to work as a **setter** at RGE has arisen This role is on a three shift system Days, Evenings, Nights Monday to Friday on a two week rotation. The working hours being, 06.45 - 15:15 / 14:45 - 23:15/ 22:45 -07:15, with a 20 min paid break. When working the night shift the hourly rate will increase by 10%.

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily running of moulding machines in line with Mould shop capacity plan.
- Updating Thingtrax to indicate machine status i.e, running, tool change, sampling etc.
- Carry out tool changes to achieve maximum utilization in conjunction with mould shop plan and running priority.
- Monitor tool changes per shift and durations, identify areas for improvement.
- Target worst case cycle times and install improvement actions. Once worst cases are actioned move to next level with overall objective of all machines being within quoted cycle times.

Along with performing any other duties as requested within the scope of your ability and in pursuance of the company objectives.

**Development**
- If required by the Company, introduce new employees into the operation training them as and when required.
- Through the appraisal process, identify areas of personal and team development required.
- Develop through continuous performance improvements, customer service and operational efficiencies.
