Small electronics firm in Cambridge that specialises in software and electronics need a electronics engineer.
The friendly, welcoming team is ideal for you if you enjoy taking on complex engineering challenges head-on.
All phases of the product design lifecycle, from initial feasibility to supporting new product introduction, are involved in the role.
You should be able to demonstrate an electronic product development process, an understanding of analogue electronics, the component selection process, schematic capture, and the creation of a component library.
PCB manufacturing techniques and technology. An understanding of embedded software development and laboratory skills (such as soldering, using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers), as some scripting languages (such as Python), are ideal.
Experience with wearable electronics, connected products, embedded software, embedded control and monitoring solutions, and connected "Internet of Things" products will be advantageous.
It would be ideal if you had 3 or more years of experience in this industry and were eager to advance your career because there are many excellent opportunities for you to do so.
