Role OverviewAs a Senior Web & Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in our team, contributing your extensive experience and skills to our digital projects and branding initiatives. Your responsibilities will span the design, development, and branding spectrum, focusing on creating accessible, responsive, and aesthetically pleasing websites that prioritise user experience (UX), and strong brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Design and Development**: Design and develop a range of digital projects, from campaign microsites to full-scale websites, with a strong focus on UX, quality code, and aesthetics.
- **Interface Design**: Craft engaging and intuitive interface designs that enhance user interaction and engagement.
- **Branding**: Develop and execute innovative branding strategies to build and strengthen brand identity for our clients, ensuring consistency across all digital platforms.
- **SEO** Optimisation: Implement solid SEO practices to ensure optimal visibility and performance of digital content.
- **Digital Support**: Manage website updates, maintenance, and offer digital support to ensure the longevity and relevance of digital projects.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the team to conceptualise and collaborate on digital prototypes and branding concepts, fostering an environment of creativity and innovation.
Skills and Qualifications
- **Experience**:5+ years of relevant experience in web design, development, and branding, with a proven track record of successful digital projects and brand development.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Expertise in WordPress, CraftCMS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- **Design Skills**: Strong graphic design skills with the ability to create engaging designs across various digital mediums. Experience in interface design and familiarity with design tools like Figma.
- **Branding Expertise**: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement branding strategies, creating cohesive and impactful brand identities.
- **Adobe Creative Cloud**: Proficiency in the Adobe CC suite of products, demonstrating a broad skillset in digital design and branding tools.
- **SEO Knowledge**: A solid understanding of SEO practices and their implementation in digital projects and content strategy.
- **Soft Skills**:Exceptional teamwork abilities, detail-oriented, and adaptable to evolving project requirements and branding challenges.
