We are currently seeking a Buyer,to join our Operations Team on a permanent, full-time basis.

**The Role**
As a Buyer, you will support the development and delivery of our procurement strategies. Using your knowledge of the construction industry, you will identify and negotiate favourable contracts with suppliers of materials and services.
Acting as an interface between our suppliers, construction teams and sales teams, you will assist in the co-ordination of new and upcoming projects, as well as the sequencing of site teams requisitions.
Monitoring costs, gross profit margins and procurement schedule progress across projects, you will identify opportunities for continual improvement across our procurement activities.
Additionally, you will:

- Collaborate with other construction project stakeholders
- Support Purchasing and Stock control activities across the business
- Report developments that might negatively impact cost and time estimates
**About You**
To be considered as a Buyer, you will need:

- A minimum of three years’ experience in construction and/or for a contractor
- Experience using supply chain management software and tools
- Experience working in a construction project management environment
- Experience building strong relationships with clients and external contacts
- Experience dealing with suppliers
- A track record of supporting negotiations and securing deals
- A full, valid driving licence
