**Location**: Pickering, YO18

**Duration**: Approximately 8 weeks

**Pay Rate**: £19 p/hr CIS

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducting general maintenance and repairs on highways infrastructure.
- Assisting with excavation, backfilling, and compaction of trenches.
- Laying pipes, kerbs, and other groundwork materials.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve project objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in highways maintenance and groundwork operations.
- Valid CSCS card and relevant qualifications.
- Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work.

**Additional Information**:

- This is a project position lasting approximately 8 weeks.
- Work will be based out of Pickering, YO18.
- Payment will be made on a CIS basis at a rate of £19 per hour.
