**Main Purpose of the Role**

The main purpose of this role is to assist the team with an effective installation programme for UMC’s operation. This role may include nationwide travel, therefore a willingness to travel long distances (including staying away) and work overtime as required is essential.

**Key Responsibilities**

The specifics of the role include but are not limited to:

- Assist Engineers with all aspects of installations/reactive maintenance
- Prepare equipment/tools ready for use
- Ensure a clean, tidy and safe work environment by maintaining good housekeeping standards
- Any other tasks assigned by the engineer/management
- Duties also include heavy lifting, manual handling and working at height.

**Key Attributes**
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must be physically fit as job will include heavy lifting and manual work.
- Ability to use hand tools
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills essential
- Full UK driving licence

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Overtime

- Ferndown, Dorset: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
