**YARD CREW SUPERVISOR**

Palmbrokers is a greenery company supplying and making natural scenery and props for film and television, events and high-end retail across the UK and internationally. It is based on an 18-acre site in Farnham Royal, Berkshire with an extensive stock of indigenous, tropical and temperate plants and trees, artificial flowers, cut forestry, foliage, landscaping materials and props.

The company is looking for an experienced crew supervisor to oversee the team and operations in its yard. The crew supervisor will work closely with the operations manager and logistics manager to motivate and manage the yard staff in preparing and loading stock and receiving returning stock.

The role includes:
Motivation and daily management of a team of 4-6 full-time staff plus additional temporary staff as required to
- Prepare and quality control all orders for despatch.
- Load and unload vehicles according to the daily logistics plan.
- Check in returning items and return them to their correct storage position.
- Report and arrange repairs or replacement of damaged or missing returns.
- Organise and oversee hand and power tools on site.
- Maintain a tidy and ordered yard space.
- Ensure adherence to, and arrange training in, health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Manage recycling and reuse of materials.

The yard crew supervisor will work alongside the senior management team and heads of department to fine-tune and develop efficient working practices and process.

A driving licence is essential.

**Salary**: £34,800 + overtime

Normal hours of work: 07:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday

Pension: 4% employer contribution

Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays

**Salary**: £34,800.00 per year
