We are looking to recruit a Room Leader for one of our client nurseries in **Cradley Heath**. They are looking for a Level 3 qualified nursery nurse with at least 2 years experience to lead their Baby Room working between 30-40 hours per week.

As part of this team, you will ensure all children are cared for in a safe and positive environment, lead the planning and organising of the room, take direction from the nursery management and overall make sure that the children have the best time learning in a safe and encouraging environment.

**What you will be doing**:

- Ensuring children’s observations, assessment and development records are maintained
- Working to nursery safeguarding, health and safety policy and procedures
- Providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children in the setting
- Give support to staff within the room, making sure they are following the EYFS and planning.
- Developing strong links with parents
- Meet requirements of regulatory bodies with relation to EYFS, SEN, Child Protection, Health, and safety and to ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to

**What you must have**:

- Minimum of a Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- 2 years post qualification experience in a childcare setting
- Experience as a room leader or similar role
- Enthusiasm about providing excellent levels of care
- Initiative coupled with a practical, problem-solving, can-do attitude
