Housekeeper

**Housekeeper for a large Nursery in the Hale area (full time, Monday to Friday)**

To provide housekeeping service which creates a clean and orderly environment for our families and staff that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.This role requires working in collaboration with others and taking responsibility for working in line with regulatory requirements, policies and procedures

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Keep the Nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, staff and families
- Encourage and model behaviour which is appropriate in a child environment being professional at all times adhering to our Heart Principles
- To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day
- To carry out daily laundry duties as required
- To respond appropriately to issues requiring confidentiality: for example being aware of personal information regarding children
- Support, promote and implement policies and procedures
- Work in co-operation and partnership with the Nursery team, providing high standards of cleaning to ensure the smooth running of the nursery day
- Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking of certain domestic tasks within the nursery e.g. supporting over meal times and cleaning of equipment
- Ensuring products and materials are appropriate for a nursery environment and stored and used in line with COSHH guidelines.
- To take reasonable care of yourself and others and to comply with company Health and Safety guidelines whilst understanding the importance of keeping everyone safe and the part you play.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach using your initiative and showing resilience to take responsibility for getting things done

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Altrincham, WA15 9NP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
