JHE & Partners are delighted to be working exclusively with a growing and successful business who are looking to recruit a purchase ;ledger manager on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role on the back of a period of sustained growth with the opportunityto implement your own processes and procedures whilst overseeing a small team.

Reporting in the finance manager, you will have a proven record of leading teams, offering guidance and support. You will have an excellent understanding of the purchase ledger process with the ability to streamline processes along the way. You will havesound technical knowledge ensuring all aspects of the process are completed in a timely and accurate manner. This is a superb opportunity for someone seeking a role within a major business operating globally.

Duties include:

- Leadership and coaching of the team responsible for processing supplier and expense payments
- Identifying training requirements and managing objective-setting and carrying out regular 1-2-1s and annual appraisals in line with HR process
- Managing the implementation of new processes and the continuous improvement of existing processes
- Full ownership of the purchase ledger and associated reconciliations and managing internal controls
- Resolving internal and external queries
- Driving the month-end close of the ledger to ensure appropriate reporting and analysis can be completed by the management accounts team
- Ad hoc duties set out by the finance manager

You must have significant purchase ledger experience to be considered for this role. Ideally you will have managed teams and possess strong attention to detail. You will be rewarded with a salary of £30,000 - £35,000, employee well-being platform, rewardand recognition scheme which includes previous trips to Los Angeles, Dubai, Hong Kong and NYC. This is an office-based role working 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday.
