Adele Carr is working with a rapidly expanding online business who have had years of ongoing success to recruit a **Supply Chain Coordinator** to join them on a full-time and permanent basis at their office in **Skelmersdale**.

This is a newly created opportunity within a hugely successful business that has gone through extensive growth over the past 5 years. This role will offer training and development (CIPS), exposure across the whole supply chain department and an excellent salary and benefits.

**Salary & Benefits**:

- £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Fully funded CIPS training is available
- Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
- Office based (Due to the nature of the role needs someone based on site)
- 20 days annual leave + bank holidays (rising to 25 days - Just in final stages)

**What will be expected of you**:
The main purpose of this role is to play a crucial part in supporting the warehouse manager to ensure efficient operations of the warehouse and supply chain department.
- Assist the warehouse manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
- Assist with the implementation of the new warehouse management system, including scanners and other related systems.
- Inventory management and stock control activities to ensure accurate and timely stock levels.
- Perform regular stock reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to support the purchasing process and ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Act as a liaison with suppliers, maintaining strong relationships and facilitating effective communication.
- Work closely with the finance and other departments to coordinate activities and ensure accurate records.
- Handle ad-hoc warehouse administration duties, such as maintaining records, generating reports, and processing documentation.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within warehouse operations.

- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related field.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management is desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
