BAM is recruiting a Data Lead to support our UK & Ireland ERP Programme on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting into the ERP Programme Manager and forming part of our wider transformation team.
The role can be based from any of our UK & Ireland office locations, with travel to London and Manchester required on occassion. We fully support periods of remote working.

Purpose
The BAM Digital Transformation program is delivering integrated digital functions and continuous improvement procedures powered by data as part of our Building a Sustainable Tomorrow strategy.
The ERP Programmed plays a key role in this strategy by delivering an integrated enterprise business system for the UK & Ireland, in alignment with our counterparts in the Netherlands business division.
A vast range of knowledge, skills and experience is required to deliver this programme successfully and as a result, we have an exciting role for an experienced Data Lead to join our UK & Ireland programme team.

**Your mission**

To assist in a harmonisation and change programme as we move to a single ERP system (SAP S/4 HANA).
This role supports the development and implementation of desired business technology change for the UK&I division.
**Accountabilities and Key activities**
- Responsible for assessing the data landscape
- Creating a data roadmap to support the standardisation of business systems and the delivery of the ERP programme
- Identifying and prioritising the key issue
- Designing and planning the new data management framework
- Creating a data cleansing strategy
- Manage & monitor the data cleansing (dashboard)
- Create the archiving strategy for systems to be decommissioned
- Support creation of a data migration strategy and support the migration activities

**Who are we looking for?**

**Profile and qualities**
- Experience of life cycle ERP programme preferably SAP
- Experience of ERP data programmes
- Experience working with system integrators
- Knowledge of process and systems capabilities
- Experience in Master Data Management ,
- Strong analytical skills and confident handling large quantities of data
- Good communicator both verbal and oral

**Education and experience**
- 5 years minimum demonstrable experience in, and a keen interest in Data
- Experience in complex environments, with multiple stakeholders
- Evidence of ERP experience
- Understanding of complex data environments
- Preferable experience in Construction industry
- Strong integrity, organisational and analytical skills, and team management experience
- Effective communication skills applicable to all levels in the organisation
