**Salary**:Up to£30,000 plus tips (DOE)

**Hours**:Wednesday - Saturday (Every week)

**Holiday**:5 weeks holiday (inclusive of 2 weeks over Christmas, 1 week in spring and 2 weeks in summer)

**Days**:This is a permanent job, four days a week.

The restaurant is open Wednesday to Saturday. Flexibility to work all shifts between all specified days is required.

**SUMMARY OF POSITION**

An excellent opportunity has arisen for skilled Silver Service staff to work at Midsummer House.
We are looking to recruit experienced and professional waiting staff to join the expanding front of house team.
WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR:

- Silver Service and Fine dining waiters
- Plate service and Hospitality staff

We are building a team of enthusiastic and professional Waiting Servers who will be responsible for greeting, assisting and serving guests at the finest level, in East Anglia’s only 2-star Michelin restaurant, in Cambridge. If you are well presented, have excellent customer service skills and are available to join us for the busy spring-summer and beyond, then we would like to hear from you.

**Important information about the role**
- Waiting or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential as we will teach you the necessary skills needed
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Courteous and polite manner in order to be attentive to guests at all times
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job - setting up a room, staying on your feet, circulating a room, and carrying heavy-weights etc.
- All potential staff will be expected to show initiative, have a can-do attitude and take pride in the service you provide
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions. This team work includes supporting colleagues at peak times and undertake any reasonable duty which might be needed
- Assist to monitor all aspects of the customers' experience - from the restaurant layout and cleaning before they arrive to the experience they receive while there, and act to enhance that experience and remedy potential problems so that service is seamless
- To work towards managing and being responsible for a section of the restaurant. This includes being proficient in serving dishes in the restaurant, and managing the service of these tables
- To ensure all guest wishes are met so far as is reasonably possible
