Powder Coater

The recruitment Crowd have partnered with a market leading company based in the Halifax area. We are looking for an experienced powder coater on the day shift.

**MUST have experience**

**Hours**:Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays), 0800hrs until 1630hrs
**Rate of Pay**:£11.25 per hour PAYE
**Type of work**:Temp to perm

**Key Tasks**:

- Setting up an automated powder coating booth.
- Topping up powder levels.
- Setting and adjusting spray guns/nozzles.
- Familiarity with testing substrates & adhesion characteristics.
- Inspection & preparation of products prior to coating.
- Inspection & checking the quality of finished product & reporting any issues/defects.
- Maintain a clean & safe working area.
- Heavy lifting will be required.

**Key Requirements for the Role**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the powder coating industry (1 year minimum)
- Knowledge of powder coating techniques, equipment & materials
- Good levels of attention to detail.
- Willing to work as a team player.
- Good physical strength.
- Able to work on foot for extended periods of time.
- Good levels of verbal communication.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Understanding of safety & quality.
