We are currently recruiting for a **Prepress Operator** for this dynamic and friendly Newcastle based client, who is continually growing and wanting to add bright and confident individuals to their Team.

The role involves the use of several programs in order to efficiently prepare jobs ready for print production whilst also ensuring that they are prepressed accurately.

You will need to be able to provide the technical support required to customers who need help with any issues that may occur throughout the process.

**Some of the main responsibilities are**:

- Collect data and knowledge of processes and help identify areas in which they could be improved upon and help then to implement new ideas and areas of improvement
- Helping to identify and locate artwork issues and problems, ensuring to get in touch with customers in order to rectify
- Be able to impose artwork to the supplied guidelines

**Some of the main skills required**:

- Be highly organised
- Be able to maintain and meet daily deadlines and work to a high standard
- A good knowledge level of litho print/digital is essential
- Great communication skills
- A good knowledge of Adobe CS & Microsoft programs is needed
- Flexibility in your approach to work
- A working knowledge and understanding of prepress and studio processes is needed
