We currently have an exciting opportunity in our People Team for a People Administrator. The People Administrator is responsible for supporting the People Team to deliver an exceptional experience for all our people at each stage of the employee life cycle. They will maintain accurate data within HR Systems, including offboarding information to ensure final payments are calculated correctly.
**What you'll be doing**:
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for all associated people administration, ensuring accurate records are maintained covering the whole employment lifecycle.
- Provide an effective people administration service ensuring that employee data is handled, stored, recorded, processed and retrieved in a professional, confidential, accurate and timely manner, in accordance with data protection.
- Effectively maintaining all people systems with accurate information, processing starters, leavers and general employee changes in the HR system to meet payroll cut off and reporting.
- Produce reports from the HR systems as required by the People Team.
- Processing employee benefits in a timely manner.
- Maintain training records and provide training administration support, providing reports on lapsed training and managing the evaluation process.
- Support the team to review current people processes and develop proposals to streamline and improve efficiency.
- Build good relationships with other departments across the business to ensure the People Team meet customers' needs, providing a high-quality level of support.
- Provide advice and guidance to employees and managers on policies and procedures when required.
- Pro-actively contribute to the delivery of people initiatives to increase employee engagement.
- Provide administration support to the People Team as a when required.

Skills and experience
- Good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks. Knowledge can be acquired through a combination of job-related training and considerable on
- the-job experience. Operates within a defined role, with some autonomy in how tasks are delivered.
- Good understanding of how the team integrates and collaborates with other teams to achieve overall objectives of the department.
- Provides on the job training/support for new team members. May allocate resources and coordinate tasks for the team, check and report on quality and work progress and individual actions. May act as coach/ mentor.
- Understands procedures and has the capability to evaluate and select the appropriate alternatives from defined options and plans and monitors own work within agreed deadlines. Responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of own work. Produces routine reports and other documents from standard templates. Performs a range of activities in a variety of structured environments.
- Direct impact on customer experience and team performance through the quality of the tasks performed or services provided.
- Good verbal and written communication with colleagues and/or customers.
