**Purchase Ledger Clerk**
We are working with a Whitby based engineering company seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk for full-time, temporary role.
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will report into the finance manager and support the transactional function of the accounts department, dealing with suppliers directly to maintain accurate accounting records.
Salary for this role is £11.50 / hour
Hours are Monday to Friday with flexible hours between 8am-6pm

**The main duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be**:

- Code and check invoices
- Work out VAT payments
- Pay out money via BACS or by cheque
- Check and reconcile supplier statements
- File invoices and statements
- Dealing with supplier queries in a polite, clear and timely manner
- Assist the finance team as and when necessary with other finance related work

**As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will have**:

- Purchase Ledger experience
- Organised and efficient with the ability to manage a busy workload and meet key deadlines
- Good communications skills to foster productive working relationships
- Proficiency in numeracy skills
- Committed to delivering the utmost service/support to the business and our customers
- High attention to detail and high level of accuracy
