**Job Title: Project Manager**

**Location: Harlow**

**Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience) + Car Allowance**

**Summary of Position**:
Our client, a family-owned business, that provides office refurbishment services is looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team. The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control,and closure of a project.

**The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:
**Pre-Project Commencement**:

- Once the project has been awarded, procurement stage starts against the completed CSA and allocating trades
- Communicate with key stakeholders, both internally and externally to ensure the project runs smoothly from the start
- Checking contractor and supplier quotations to ensure commercial compliance before sending to the project support team to raise purchase orders before the commencement of works
- Ensuring Health & Safety compliance is in line with company standards and statutory regulations before work commencement
- Pre-Start design review to ensure everyone is working to the correct design
- Review and amend the program of works
- Internal risk meetings with key internal stakeholders to discuss project risks and control measures
- Pre-Start meeting with the site team and contractors to discuss the project

**Project**:

- Ensure the program deadlines are met by liaising with the site team and contractors
- Complete weekly project update, which is sent to the client and Head of Projects
- Manage regular liaison with the client design teams and ensure cost control
- Produce regular financial reports, highlighting any changes in targeted profit and subcontractor/client valuations
- Ensure client and subcontractor valuations are submitted as per the valuation schedule
- Submitting variations to the client and on approval agreeing on variations with subcontractors
- Ensure the team is running the H&S on-site correctly
- Quality control and rectification of sub-standard workmanship before client handover
- Agreeing on final accounts with clients and subcontractors
- Experience within a similar role and fit-out projects would be ideal
- Reading and accurately interpreting contract documents, programmes, drawings, and technical specifications
- Managing teams including the supply chain, direct employees, and consultants
- Controlling costs, timing, and quality in line with targets
- Excellent listening, and communication skills
- Positive, proactive and a problem solver
- Growth mindset
- Excellent organisational skills and detail-oriented
- Valid UK Drivers Licence
- Excellent IT Skills
