Our client, within the engineering sector is looking for a new team member to join their busy office. You will have previous experience of delivering an excellent customer service, be engaging with new clients and be confident in order processing with anattention to details.
If you do not have engineering sector experience you must be willing to learn how to understand and interpret technical drawings and product specifications within the role - Training will be provided.
Working as a first point of contact for customers and general enquiries your duties will include
- Accurate and timely processing of customer enquiries. Updating ERP systems with orders and passing to Account Manager.
- Manage incoming calls and direct them accordingly
- Manage the sales inbox, answering customer questions and following the quote procedure
- Processing customer purchase orders, contract reviews, archiving and customer communication.
- Preparing Sales orders and sales / production information
- Coordinating communications between customers, preparation, production and updating systems and hard copy paperwork
- Record marketing information creating a list of potential customers.
- Developing social media connections to qualify the commercial potential from marketing list. Keeping in general contact with potential clients.
**Working hours**
Monday to Thursday 07.30am - 17.00pm
Friday 07.30am - 12.30pm
**Salary**
