Financial Analyst

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join a listed company on the outskirts of Pontefract.
Supporting the Logistics team you will be working closely with the Warehouse Managers as well as supporting Finance Managers across the wider business.
ideally you will be an ambitious Part Qualified Accountant and reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and completing the finance month-end processing in an accurate and timely manner
Conducting monthly finance reviews
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
Producing monthly finance packs
Weekly reporting and working with the operation to understand any unexpected anomalies
Assisting with the bi-annual budget process with budget preparation
Variance analysis
Client billing
Ad hoc finance project work
**Requirements**:
Part qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACCA or AAT qualified with a view to continuing with studies
Proven track record of working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Excellent analytical skills including Excel
Solid communication and presentation skills
