Driver Technicians

RECRUITMENTiQ are delighted to be working with an Outsourced provider and Manufacturer of equipment company based in Littlehampton, and they are seeking a Driver Technician.
They work in partnership with the NHS to supply the necessary equipment and aids to support people in their day to day life.. Their community equipment ranges from simple walking frames and crutches to more complex equipment such as beds, hoists and pressurecare equipment.
They have a brand new contract with the service centre based in Littlehampton and are looking for:
**Driver Technicians**
Responsible for the delivery, installation and collection of community healthcare equipment within people’s homes and associated locations such as care homes, hospitals and schools across West Sussex. You may also be involved in the servicing and repair ofequipment. They also carry out minor adaptations such as the installation of handrails and grab rails within the home which can make a significant impact in giving people the confidence to live more independently
For this role you will have:

Excellent customer service skills
A full, valid UK Driving Licence
Basic DIY Skills
Ability to load and unload goods and equipment, some of which may be heavy
