**ACCOUNTABLE TO**:Senior Manager/Directorate Manager**

**JOB SUMMARY**:
**An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the cardio-respiratory investigations (CRI) unit at Tameside General Hospital.**

**This varied role will alternate between in-patient transfers and greeting out-patients on the CRI front desk and would be ideal for an existing porter/ receptionist looking for a degree of variety in their role although no specific previous experience is necessary and all training will be provided.**

**_The portering aspect will primarily involve the safe transfer of in-patients between wards and CRI, whilst the main duties on the CRI front desk will involve greeting patients and checking them in our computer system. _**

**_Please note that although some shift patterns may be in place (to be agreed) this will be between Monday and Friday from 8am to 6pm; _**_no weekends, nights or bank holidays _**_. _**
