**ROLE- Mechanical Maintenance Technician**
**LOCATION- South Oxfordshire**
**TERM- Permanent**
**SALARY- £25,000- £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)**
My client works within the engineering manufacturing sector, and they are looking to take on a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, on a permanent basis, in the Oxfordshire area.
**The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will ideally have the following attributes**:

- NVQ / Apprenticeship/ City & Guilds / HNC qualification ideally or similar in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing
- IOSH qualification would be desirable
- 2 years pf more of hands on experience in a similar mechanical installation environment
- The ability to work well alone as well as part of a team
- Have good communication skills
- Building Services Maintenance, HVAC or Compressed Air experience
- Good IT skills

**The Mechanical Maintenance Technician role will involve**:

- Providing a good level of mechanical knowledge
- Providing plumbing knowledge too
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary Building Services team
- Supporting the maintenance management team
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance service for the facilities
- Working on fault finding and repairs of systems
- Attending or give advice on out of hours emergencies
- Providing support to other colleagues when needed too
