Accounts Assistant

The Accounts Assistant manages the running of the company purchase and sales ledgers, overseeing all banking facilities, ensuring correct and accurate reconciliation. They will provide valuable information for the preparation of the monthly management accounts so attention to detail and sound processes are imperative to enable the department to produce accurate and timely information to the Board.
Day to day the Accounts Assistant will manage:
- The company banking facilities, including posting payments, receipts and reconciling.
- The Purchase Ledger, setting up new suppliers and matching up purchase orders to purchase ledger invoices.
- Manage and process W5 duty calculations and payments to HMRC
In addition, the Accounts Assistant will assist with the month end process, assist with weekly sales reports and other adhoc duties within the department.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
