**Exciting Opportunity to become a Non-Executive Adviser on the newly established South Norfolk Council Leisure Oversight Board**

**South Norfolk Council operates an in-house leisure service, providing five well-equipped leisure facilities with good accessibility for the general public.

Prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, these five centres attracted footfall of nearly a million visits per year. The Council has recently created a Leisure Oversight Board, whose purpose is to take a high-level and strategic overview of the leisure service and its delivery. This involves checking and challenging of senior leisure officers and supporting the service to help drive forward the leisure recovery plan, following COVID-19.

We have an exciting opportunity and are currently seeking an individual to act as an independent Non-Executive Adviser.

The commitment of the role would require a minimum of one day per month.

Remuneration will be offered at £250-£300 per day.
