Willshee’s is a leading independent domestic, industrial and commercial waste management company based in Burton-on-Trent & Swadlincote. Our family-run company has been providing waste and recycling solutions for over 35 years. Our waste management, recycling and skip hire expertise means we can propose, develop and deliver tailor made services for the reduction, reuse, recycling, recovery and disposal of waste.
We offer a wide range of services from wheelie bin hire, skips, rear end loaders (RELs), roll on / off container and equipment rental for general waste and all types of recycling.
We currently have two depots located off Wetmore Road Burton, a main office and a new purpose-built recycling unit in Swadlincote.
**The Role**
The role of the Recycling / Baler Operative is to carry out Refuse / Recycling duties which include but are not limited to:
- Conduct Documented Pre-Use Checks on any machinery being used
- Show an interest in understanding waste handling and processing methods - We are committed to Landfill Diversion and responsible waste processing methods
- Operating Waste Processing machinery to include Conveyor Belts, Shredders, Trommels & a Baling & Wrapping Machine
- Operate forklifts and Tele-handlers
- Sortation of Waste when required to do so
- Manual handling will be involved
- We are looking for 2 individuals who are looking to learn all aspect of waste recycling within a busy yard environment
Full Training will be provided to the successful applicants in all aspects of this role
To be considered for this position you will be required to be Physically Fit, have a Flexible attitude and Excellent work ethic
