Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Designer to join their dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to consult on and design projects in the UK, as well as large-scale master-planning projects in the Middle East.

They are a leading international engineering consultancy specialising in sustainable building design. With offices in the UK, Middle East and across the globe, we pride ourselves on delivering innovative solutions that prioritise energy efficiency and environmental stewardship. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to create sustainable spaces that positively impact communities and the planet.

**Responsibilities**:

- As a Senior Environmental Designer, you will play a pivotal role in our projects, driving sustainability initiatives and ensuring our designs meet the highest environmental standards. Your responsibilities will include:

- Consulting on and designing sustainable building projects in the UK, as well as large master-planning projects in the Middle East.
- Conducting research and analysis to identify sustainable design opportunities and strategies.
- Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and clients to integrate environmental considerations into the design process.
- Managing and coordinating projects to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sustainable design.

**Requirements**:

- To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- A bachelors or masters degree in architecture, engineering, environmental design, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in sustainable building design and environmental consulting.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Green Building Certifications (such as LEED or BREEAM), Building Performance & Energy Modelling, or Life Cycle Assessments & Embodied Carbon.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results within specified deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
- A deep understanding of sustainable design principles, renewable energy systems, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for energy modelling, life cycle assessment, and project management.
- An innovative mindset, with a passion for finding creative solutions to complex sustainability challenges.
