Care Scheduler

We require a full-time care scheduler to ensure all our clients have all their care calls covered.The role is approx 2/3rd office based with every other weekend care working and one evening per weekso ideally you would have previous care assistant experience.

**The role includes the fo llowing**:

- Create and maintain schedules for our staff
- Arrange or organise schedules for clients in line with their identified needs and contracts.
- Work with health and social care providers to build professional relationships
- Build professional relationship(s) with clients /families so as to ensure excellent service delivery
- Ensure accuracy of scheduling systems
- Show respect for clients by maintaining confidentiality
- Keep the senior management updated as regards conflict in schedules.
- Meeting clients their preferences in regards to days, times and duration of visits. Consider carer’s location and traveling time when creating the schedules.
- Cover all short term unassigned shifts making sure all clients are safe.

- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- Must be able to multi-task and also display and level of flexibility
- Must possess the ability to prioritise in the face of multiple tasks and/or duties
- Must be someone that has a keen eye for details so as to be able to avoid and/or rectify conflicting schedules
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to manage time and schedules effectively
- Must have basic knowledge of computer programs.
- Customer orientated (clients and carers): great phone manners, patient on the phone and professional. Able to deal with difficult people
