Commercial Building Surveyor

Large local authority in the Northamptonshire area currently require an interim Commercial Building Surveyor for a contract initially of 6 months.
Purpose of the role:
Primarily responsible for the inspection of and overseeing repair and maintenance of Council owned commercial properties. You will be required to specify work, determine priority, programme work, supervise contracts, monitor and raise performance and agree variations.
- Experience within the FM/construction industry
- Knowledge of up to date facility management techniques and methods.
- Experience conducting stock condition surveys of commercial property.
- Experience of contractual procedures and using standard forms of contracts.
- Understanding customer care standards and how they relate to repairs and maintenance
More details:
- Remote & Office Based
- Rates are negotiable depending on experience
- 37 hour a week
- Initially 6 months but likely to be on-going work
