3.5t Refuse Driver

Coventry City Council are looking for a 3.5t Driver to work out of their Whittley, Coventry Depot.

The position is to deliver new and replacement wheeled bins to the general public.

1. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
2. Delivery of new/replacement wheeled bins to customers using an 3.5t vehicle.

3. Deal with members of the public directly dealing with their enquiries.

4. Undertake general duties assisting the smooth operation of wheeled bin deliveries.

5. Undertake minor repairs and cleaning of wheeled bins for re-use.

6. Support monitoring of stock levels of wheeled bins and other waste receptacles.

7. Provide appropriate assistance to Waste Services projects eg round reviews.

Therefore, we are looking for someone with a updated and clean driving licence who is able to drive a 3.4t vehicle.

You must also be able to lift weights, repair and clean the bins and have good customer service skills.

Working Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm.

Wages : - £10.50 per hour

Temporary position which may lead to permanent.
