CNC Turner

TECNIQ are a bespoke, high end automotive manufacturer.

We are currently seeking a CNC Turner to join our team.

**Job role requirements**:

- Extensive G code programming experience.
- Knowledge of HAAS controls.
- Good eye for detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to work in a fast-changing environment.
- Good numerical and literacy skills.
- Innovative approach to problem solving.

Knowledge of live tooling, bar feeders and Y axis lathes is desirable but not essential.

Knowledge of other controls would be considered depending on experience.

**Day to day duties would include but not limited to**:

- Programming and proving out low volume production jobs in line with customer requirements.
- Programming and proving out of 1 off prototype components for inhouse and customer requirements.
- Working with a variety of materials including aluminium, steels, and plastics.
- Setting and running of existing production jobs.
- Continuous improvement of existing jobs to get optimal machine usage.
- Reading and understanding of engineering drawings to produce parts.
- Working with tight tolerances when required.
- Using of manual inspection equipment.
- Deburring of parts where required.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance work on the machine and associated equipment.

**Hours of work**:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 16:30PM

Overtime is available.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
