Component Inspector

Ensuring quality/safety is maintained and inform management of any issues or concerns.
- Generating route cards
- Perform quality assessments on all incoming materials / products.
- Carry out throughput, and final inspection on all outgoing products prior to shipping.
- Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
- Be trained in the use of measuring equipment.
- Measure product dimensions, examine and compare the final product to the specifications.
- Read drawings, plans, and specifications to understand requirements.
- Generate document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
- Understand customer repair schemes.
- Liaise with engineering to resolve any operational issues and recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
- Ensure all documentation is completed correctly before signing / stamping off.
- Raise supporting documentation for release of repaired/returned parts.
- Understand NCR process and assist in investigation and closure.
- Provide production support with issues arising and assist in problem solving.
- Support NPI/Development of new repairs.

Full time hours would be 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1pm on Friday. Some shift work may be required in future and overtime would be available after competency assessment is completed.
